Summary: Ren Kimura was a dance student before Black Bolt detonated the Terrigen bomb and activated her inhuman genetics. In Fearless Defenders #10, Ren Kimura joins the Defenders, using her new abilities to fight crime amongst a roster of strong female characters. She also meets and immediately falls in love with Dr. Annabelle Riggs. The feeling is clearly mutual as the two women "fall kind of hard and fast" for each other, kissing for the first time in Fearless Defenders #11.
